10 Great Reasons To Keep Exercising!

10 Great Reasons To Keep Exercising! Many of us have asked if it really is worth while putting all that effort into exercising. The answer of course is emphatically yes. After a couple month of some serious workouts we tend to get a little bored and tired of the workout seen and start questioning if it really is worth it. Many people at this point quit and rationalize a million reasons to do so. It has to become a routing like brushing your teeth and showering. For some of us it has become a complete Lifestyle. If you try to live your life on biblical standards, it completes the Body, Mind, and Spirit trinity. We were created by God as a single unit functioning in three parts as one, sort of like the Father , Son, and Holy Ghost. Reminds me of a sermon but I’ll save that for another time.  Read the article (you can print it out) and learn some facts about the benefits of working out.

Stretching 101Stretching 101 is a great article on the importance of stretching. Most weight trainers love the weghts but feel that the stretching is unnessasry or boring. We highly suggest stretching no matter how much we all hate it. Weight training has a tendency of shortening the muscles elasticity so stretching will help reverse any tightness or lack of range of motion. Read the article it might help.

The Beat Goes on: Exercise and Heart Rate.

The Beat goes on.Heart Rate when working out is very important to monitor when working out. See the article  Training Smarter also for great tips on working out Smart. Check out our website for our Heart Rate Calculator. Please do not do what some of the morons out there tell you to do which is to press on your cartoid artery and count your pulse. Your cutting the blood supply to your brain. Not too bright maybe that’s why you might be a little slow. No blood supply not good.  It always amazes me how women will by thongs, and designer workout clothes and shoes and spend hundreds on attire and personal trainers but will not spend 50.00 on a Polar pulse meter which is like having a personal trainer strapped to your chest.

Most men would never do it because it would neuter there machismo ego. There logo is “Squat till you puke.”

That is why we Cater to Women. Women are more concerned with health and if they shed a few pounds and look a little better they’re thrilled.

Training Smarter Tips from the Pros

Workout SmartTraining smart is a lot better than training hard. Training smart gives you faster, better results in less time. Training hard and heavy without applying smarts is dangerous and is how people hurt themselves and stifle or reverse their progress.

Smart training is especially important in aerobic activity. We have always used and recommend a Pulse Monitor. Working out in your specific heart target range is critical for burning fat and not getting a heart attack. I am always amazed at why more people simply dont just drop deat in aerobic classes. 4o different people with 40 different body types, medical problems, fitness levels and everybody is working out to the same beat. One persons pulse rate is 120 and the others is 3 beats away from cardiac arrest.  You must be aware of your heart target range or you are wasting your time and effort and might kill yourself also.  To figure out your HEART TARGET RANGE GO to our website and use our aerobic heart target rang calculator.
